The value of Catholic education is undeniable. Academic excellence, along with discipline and values, provide a strong foundation for the development of both mind and soul. But for many families, Catholic education is difficult to afford. The Catholic Foundation manages scholarship endowments that provide families with the help they need to pay for Catholic education.
Archbishop’s School Fund
The Catholic Foundation manages this endowment and every year the Archdiocese of Santa Fe distributes funds to ASF Catholic schools to be used for tuition assistance for families in need. Thank you to the many people who support the annual Archbishop’s School Fund Dinner, your support helps this fund to continue to grow and serve Catholic School students throughout the Archdiocese.
Phillip J. Maloof Scholarship Fund
Each year The Catholic Foundation gives $50,000 in scholarships for Catholic education to families who reside in Bernalillo County, thanks to the generosity of the Maloof family. Scholarships range from $500 to $1,000 each. Scholarship selections are made by a committee designated by the Maloof family, independent of the Foundation. Students who wish to apply for a Maloof Scholarship must fill out a FACTS Grant and Aid Application which can be obtained online at www.factstuitionaid.com.
